Here at Beautify.tips, we have an unhealthy obsession with beauty products. We’re always talking about them, shopping for them, recommending them to each other and then commiserating about how much of our paycheck is going towards buying them. One of our favorite topics is fragrances. It is not uncommon for us to be congregating by the water cooler smelling someone’s wrist. Fragrance is so personal and really is another way to express one’s individuality. There is a reason most of us have a ‘signature scent’. In honor of Spring’s fresh vibes, we asked our team to share their favorite scents and why they love them. Their answers are truly scent-sational. Pun so intended!

I discovered this insanely delicious scent from Beautify’s social media manager, Nina. She sprayed in on me minutes before I left the office, and I was instantly in love with the scent. (I literally smelled my arm the entire commute home.) With notes of pistachio gelato, cotton candy, and whipped cream, this sweetly decadent dessert-like scent dries down to a powdery and creamy treat and it is the ultimate (calorie-free) indulgence. I bought it a few weeks ago and am already halfway through the bottle. OBSESSED!

ZARA FASHIONABLY LONDON ($39.90)
Marc Jacobs Decadence is my absolute favorite scent. I was introduced to it when I was working in the fragrance industry. With many different scents to work with and play around with, this one always stood out to me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the notes settle with my body chemistry – on me it smells like a marshmallow and my husband absolutely loves it. The top notes are Italian plum and saffron, with a heart of Bulgarian rose and a base of papyrus wood. The scent is strong and long lasting, which is a scent attribute I always look for. It’s such a rich, luxurious fragrance and I always get tons of compliments when I wear it. The sad thing is, it has been discontinued! Luckily my co-worker Ashley turned me onto Fashionably London by Zara. I love the smell and the price so I can buy it in multiples, guilt-free.

I’ll have to go with a combo that gets me the most compliments every time I wear it. Skylar Vanilla Sky and Aesop Karst create a blend that I like to call “salted caramel.” The scent is very feminine and very masculine at the same time. Right amount of salty and sweet. Just how I like it.

I never thought I would stop using Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray from Bath & Body Works – it was my go-to for the better half of the decade. But I was on the hunt to find a new signature scent to mark the beginning of my “mature, womanly era” and after my first time using Ouai’s North Bondi Eau de Parfum, I knew it was the one! It is the perfect blend of floral, fruity and musk. It’s everything I ever looked for in a perfume and a little goes a long way. Two spritzes, and I’m set for the entire day.

It’s my absolute fave perfume! I’m obsessed with the caramel notes in it – they give off this sweet yet sensual vibe that’s hard to resist. Every time I wear it, I feel so confident. And it’s not just me who thinks it’s amazing – this perfume is iconic! People have been raving about it since it launched back in 2014. It’s the perfect scent for any occasion, and the bottle design is so chic with its golden accents and ribbon detail. It’s definitely a must-have in any perfume collection.

If you are into vanilla, lavender, and orange blossom, this is the perfume you need. It literally makes me feel like I’m walking the streets of Paris or in a Chanel fashion show. It makes me feel luxurious. It’s very long-lasting, and powerful, but not overwhelmingly powerful. A little goes a long way. I call this scent, my “Grown Woman” scent. People will definitely be asking you,”what are you wearing?!”

This scent was gifted to me by a friend and I loved it the moment I put it on. It is clean and fresh and comfy and has become my everyday go-to. Sometimes scents are too strong and they become cloying by the end of the day. This scent is not like that at all and goes perfectly with my favorite Molton Brown body lotion.

Burberry Touch Eau de Parfum ($112)
I know it’s an oldie, but I like Burberry Touch, mainly for nostalgic reasons. In my early 20s, I was dating this one girl who wore it and I wore Burberry Touch for Men. Yeah, we were that type of couple. The smell of it just brings me back to some memories from that time in my life.
