GET THE LOOK
Step 1
Add volume and length to the hair by adding a few rows of clip-in extensions into the hair. I like to back-comb the root and spray with Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray to help keep the clips secured into place.
Tip: For hair with darker roots and lighter ends, I like to use the rooted hair extensions like the ones from Laced Hair! This will help to seamlessly blend the added hair with the natural hair.
Step 2
Spray the hair with Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray to add heat protection and flexible hold. Creating clean sections will help to form beautiful, uniform beach waves.
Starting at the bottom layer of hair and working your way up, take about one-inch sections of hair and curl away from the face using the Beachwaver Pro 1.25.
To curl the hair away from the face using the Beachwaver Pro 1.25, simply select the side you are curling (“L” for the left side or “R” for the right side of your head), place the hair into the clamp, and press “Go.” The Beachwaver does all the work for you! Hold for a couple of seconds, open the clamp, and slide straight down for the perfect curl. Continue this all around the head.
Step 3
After all the hair has been curled, lock the hair in using the Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray. Allow the hair to completely cool and then use a mixed bristle brush like the On-Set Pro Brush to transform the curls into beautiful, bouncy, voluminous waves!
Step 4
To add extra volume to the hair spritz the bottoms and around the face with Team Texture Dry Finishing Spray. Then, add shine by applying Shine Bright Vegan Keratin + Argan Serum through the ends.
