It’s sandal season and the perfect time to step up your pedicure game! After months of hiding your toes away in boots and socks, it’s finally time to show them off in some cute sandals or flip flops. But before you do, you want to make sure your feet are looking their best. And what better way to do that than with a flawless pedicure.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Going to a salon to get a pedicure is time-consuming and expensive. But fear not, because there’s a solution that’s both convenient and affordable: PRESS-ON PEDICURES. If you haven’t tried a press-on pedicure yet, step right up because I’m about to fill you in on the best-kept beauty editor secret. It’s so insanely simple: All you need to do is peel the backing off (just like a sticker!), press it on, and you are good to go! There are so many press-on pedi colors and designs to choose from, seriously, why would you want to mess around with nail polish ever again?!
Stepping into summer like…
With the imPRESS Press-On Pedicure Collection, you can choose from beach ready, casual chic, or glam party pedi styles to dress up your feet this summer! And the best part? No glue is needed! These press-on toenails are chip-proof, smudge-proof, and waterproof. Plus, there’s no drying time required. You can have flawless toenails in a flash without having to wait for them to dry or worry about them getting ruined.
Oh, and in addition to their regular collection, imPRESS recently launched their Premium Press-On Pedicure ($11.99) and they are stunning! This collection features designs created with high-tech special effects that were previously only available as custom nail art by professionals at nail salons. From on-trend square shapes to silver multi-effect magnetic fashion toenails, you can achieve the perfect pedicure in a matter minutes.
As a beauty editor for over a decade, I have long been singing the praises of pressies and now that it’s officially pedi season…I’m all in, from my fingertips to my toes. Typically, a pedicure is a feat you can pretty much tackle on your own, but usually when I try, I fall flat. I usually never get any kind of special effects or nail art on my toes when I go to the salon, since I like to get in and out as fast as possible, so that’s why I’m pretty excited about this collection and seriously plan to wear them ALL. My fave at the moment, imPRESS COLOR PRESS-ON PEDICURE in ‘Spun Sugar’ ($7.99). I’m all about pink and Barbiecore will be going strong this summer, thanks to the new Barbie movie coming out soon!
Just thinking about all the money I’ll save on salon pedicures this summer…sigh. I suddenly have my eyes on a new-pair-of-shoes prize. Is it wrong that I’m looking to buy a pair of strappy sandals to match these?

How to Apply Press-On Toenails
Size: Prior to application, align nails with tab sides facing your cuticles and find correct size for each nail (jot down the # found on the tab on each nail–1 is largest, 11 is smallest–for future use.) When you are in between sizes go smaller, not larger.
Prep: Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly. Use included cuticle stick to push back any excess skin. Wipe nails with the enclosed prep pad (the most important step), to clean nails for better adhesion. (You can use rubbing alcohol in place of or in addition to prep pad.)
Apply: Peel backing from nail then press it down on your natural nail, in the center and at both sides at the same time. Hold for 30 seconds. (Press on thumbnails last.)
- If there is exposed adhesive, brush clear nail polish between your nail and the imPRESS false nail and press down.
- Wait at least an hour to wet hands or file nails if desired.
- Don’t force or pull! You gently peel off from the side to remove. If your imPRESS nails seem really ‘stuck’, apply acetone nail polish remover around edges, wait 1 minute, then peel off. You can use the enclosed wood stick to help lift the imPRESS nail at the sides.
