How to Use Alexa for Deal Notifications
Did you know that Amazon’s Alexa can help you get ready for, and shop, all of the Prime Day deals?! If you have a Prime membership, and the virtual assistant, use these steps to get notifications for the latest price drops:
- In the Amazon mobile app, set up deal notifications for anything in your online shopping cart, wish list, or “Save for Later” list.
- Once everything is set, all you have to do is ask the virtual assistant “Alexa, what are my notifications?”
- Alexa will then read all of the current deals on the items you’ve set up in the Amazon mobile app.
- After you’ve heard the latest deals, ask Alexa to either remind you about the deals that caught your attention or to purchase specific products when the deals go live.
How to Use Rufus for Deal Notifications
If you don’t have Alexa, try Amazon’s own AI system, Rufus. Available on both Amazon desktop website, as well as the mobile app, you can speak (or type) whatever it is that you’d like to explore on Amazon. It’s able to help you find products, compare features or deals, and more.
