Who is AleXa?
AleXa (a.k.a. Alex Christine) is a solo artist with nearly a decade of experience in the K-Pop industry. She began dancing at a young age and, as she got older, shared her talents on social media—posting cover dances to popular K-Pop songs. While dancing, she also participated in choir and went on to study musical theatre. Truly embracing all of the elements it takes to be a K-Pop star, she took her skills to South Korea in the mid 2010s.
Starting with 2016, the performer competed on Soompi‘s competition program Rising Legends Season 1 and won in the dance category. By 2017, she went on the second season of the same program and won the whole competition. In January of 2018, she starred in Legendary: Making of a K-Pop Star, a Viki Original mini-series, with popular content creator JREKML. And, the summer of that same year, she competed on Produce 48, a famed survival show produced by a South Korean-based television network, Mnet.
Throughout 2019, the soloist frequently posted dance practice videos with dance and choreographer Tina Marie on her Instagram. And, finally in October of 2019 she made her debut with the song ‘Bomb‘ under ZB Label. More recently, as of 2022, the singer became the winner of the first-ever American Song Contest—a competition program hosted by NBC.
