Has being mindful of what you eat always been important to you?
I’m celiac so eating healthy has always been a huge part of my journey. One of my favorite things to do is go to the supermarket and spend hours in each aisle reading about products and ingredients. Eating healthy and enjoying it was definitely important to me. I also wanted to make a product that makes you feel good from the inside as much as the outside.
What inspired you to start your own wellness company?
Besides being a model, I’ve always loved the business aspect of everything I do. Having my own company was something I always wanted to have, especially a company I believed in. KAPOWDER is my other baby and the way it’s been flourishing is such a wonderful process to watch.
When did your modeling career begin?
My modeling career began at 21, and it was very out of nowhere. I’m from a small town in Argentina, and the last thing on my mind was to model.
Did becoming a mom change your perception of beauty, and your body?
I think becoming a mom didn’t change my perception of beauty, but it definitely taught me to take care of myself a little more through better skincare products and better ingredients.
Fashion model, actor, entrepreneur, mom…you must have a lot of things to juggle at the same time, but we would love to learn a little bit about your regular beauty routine. What are some ways you take care of your skin, especially when you’re on the go?
Okay, the most important thing for me is to always stay hydrated, I tend to have somewhat dry skin. I always have a good rich moisturizer, elixir, and sunscreen whether it is tinted or not.
How do you care for your hair?
I love doing hair masks, and I recently started using Oribe Shampoo it just leaves my hair so rich and shiny.
What beauty trends out there right now are you into?
I love the trend of natural glowing skin and lines for the eyes.
How do you typically like to wear your nails?
I always used to do so many fun designs, but now being a mom and working so much it’s easier to keep them classy with a neutral color.
What’s the one beauty item you have in your bag that you simply cannot live without right now?
Lipstick and tinted sunscreen.
What’s the best beauty advice you were ever given?
Less is more, and always use sunscreen.
